The basic music is the same, but the 80's series has a slightly different arrangement, as well as different lyrics.

The 2003/2004 series is totally diffferent. The Japanese opening theme is sung, but the English theme is instrumental techno music.

Saw the 80's "Birth Of Astroboy". Obviously it is a 2 or 3 part story. So when will the other part[s] be posted?

Great episode! Now that episode had the spirit of the 60's show, with a lot of Astro action, and none of the wimpy stuff in previous episodes. All in all one of the best so far.
