You're right and I agree, but Little Astro Boy 2018 seems to be a lower-quality beast. Camp should not be used to make even the most ignorant/innocent audience members cringe.

Re: 2nd Little Astro Boy Series (2018)
How dreadfully camp! It's for children. Kids love that sort of thing. ;) I'm not sure if your claim is statistically valid, but I can say I wholeheartedly disagree. Shows like this caused me incredible secondhand embarrassment when I was at the age of its target audience. The idea that "kids w...

I am almost angry to see such a low price. I bought mine at a store and I know I paid between 30 and 80 dollars for that p.o.s. disaster of a box set. It's kind of like one of those really bad video games with tons of glitches: you buy it just to say you have it, but you keep it on your shelf becaus...

I just received the email as well, and I'm a bit ashamed to say I'm excited. I'm so used to these things turning out horribly, but Little Astro Boy was so good my faith has recovered a bit. Then again, there was likely more direct input from Tezuka Pro while Little Astro Boy was in the making. I don...
