Re: the deleted scene where in the japanese eposide urans twin and uran sing
Looks like it's from the AnimeLab version. They edited in the deleted scenes and switch to Japanese audio for those parts. The Japanese Blurays do the same. The only version I know of with subtitles is the Madman R4 collectors DVD boxset, which has it as an extra. Here are the words: You're the one ...

Going to add my own 2c because this is my field of expertise. :-) SSDs are twice as reliable as HDDs but you should always have backups anyway. You don't have to worry about SSDs wearing out from overuse. Put your OS and apps on the SSD, and your personal data on another physical drive. If the drive...

Welcome, Mustachio!
I went to Japan for my birthday a couple of years ago. It was so amazing and I'd love to go back some day.

Re: Astro Boy Episode 24- The Greatest Robot In The World,
Absolutely, I think it's one of the most standout episodes in all of 80s dubbed anime. I can remember a bunch of cool episodes from other shows of that era - The Kingdom of Hades from Ulysses 31, The Reflex Gun from Star Blazers, the killer plants episode from Battle of the Planets, the Mysterious C...

Re: Saddest scene/Most enduring scene
It's even worse in hindsight, because she wasn't just dismantled, she was smashed up. That means Walpur Guiss whipped her to death with his electric whip. That's the upbringing Atlas had. He grows up to be a mass murderer who hates humans and wants to conquer the world. His first human slaves ...

Re: Astro voice actor here
I've been really happy with their releases, but that's coming off the back of the Siren VHS edition and taping it off the TV.
Honestly I'd be fine with them sticking subtitles on the Japanese Blurays and adding the lost dub, but the dream would be a commentary track from Jay and the others.

Re: Astro voice actor here
Madman tell me they can't release the lost dub without permission from Japan, but it's been forwarded to the product managers. Maybe Jay could send them a note with his contact details? https://www.madman.com.au/actions/knowledgebase.do?method=support It would be amazing to see an official release. ...
