Hmmmm metropolis I dont believe pulled the heartstrings like Grave of the Fireflies did. But it was an extremely powerful (albeit strange) ending. The ending of Vampire Hunter D (latest one) nearly brought me to tears when Charlotte dies and Meier takes her to the kingdom of the night

So I guess any of the men out there with a crush on Astro are in for a rude surprise....

In terms of Astro Boy, the ending of Omega Factor and of the 2003 series made me feel emotional, but probably not sad. There's been other shows and games that have made me feel the same way before, although ironically it's hard for me to remember them. <_< I think I recall one theme in Mega Man Leg...
