I have the DVD and like pretty much all of them.

The one with the battle with the forest animals vs the machines was good. It went through several different art styles too which was interesting. It's been awhile since I have watched these.

I also didn't realise they played around with the episode order too. Was the series a continuing story in the original Japanese? Or was the anime setup to be more self contained than the Manga?

I'll probably end up buying the Australian release eventually.

Yep, I filled it out too. I recommended some stuff like Jetter Mars and Ribon No Kishi. Along with Astro 2003.

Just a quick question. Is it still possible to find the melmo DVDs? I'm going to watch the series on viki, but if I like it enough I'd like to be able to own it.

On a side note, is it at all possible to extract the sub scripts from viki at all?

I ment the majority of the episodes. I'm trying to work out what they actually did to be able to do this. I read somewhere that this set even uses the Japanese opening animation instead of the English version.

Maybe if I see this set cheap I will pick it up.

Thanks for the help.

Hm did the American release do seamless branching or something? I bought the Madman 1980s tin when it was released and I am pretty sure it does not include subs. Only he first two eps were included as a special feature. EDIT: Ok so the release by Manga entertainment includes the Japanese audio. That...
