Several scenes were cut even before we dubbed them. If I recall correctly, they mostly had to do with violence, but there was also a live-action scene with Tezuka. I think it was the episode where Astro gets a girl robot's legs. This is 30 years ago, so I could easily be mistaken. I need to collate ...

I did have a question for you. Apart from being the main character, was there any other reason why Patti didn't voice any other characters? Thanks again Jay. Well, for one thing, Patti was pregnant during the pilot, so of course she had a baby to take care of during all the rest of the taping. Also...

Sorry. Was not my intention to make a big deal out of it. Its just I LOVE the scene from Robot Vikings where the lead robot stops and says 'Look at this stupid dog, he doesnt even run away' and then Ganoung says 'On top of that he's in our way', to which the leader replies 'Go ahead, STEP ON HIM'. ...

One of our fellow fans has just disputed one of my voice credits. I want to make clear that he could very easily be correct. I love you all, but you're asking me to call upon memories of 30 years ago. I really do need to pull the scripts, and I will. Patti and I were the only ones to save them, and ...

[QUOTE=foxwolf2099;202308]fyi - you're currently in the lead voicing the most characters ;) /QUOTE] I'm flattered! And suspicious. I'm sure Dave was in at least as many episodes as I was. And my memory may be faulty. I'm going to go through all my scripts sometime and check. Anyway, it's not a compe...

We received the scripts already translated. My guess would be that this was done in Japan, since we sometimes encountered words or phrases that must have been direct translations of the original text in Japanese -- for example, "water horse" for "hippo." We certainly never changed names of major cha...

I'm self-publishing, at least at first. It will either be a printed book available on eBay or an e-book. I've yet to decide, and I'm open to suggestion from fans. The title will likely be "Astro Boy and Me: My Life as a Skunk," but it will include interviews with all the cast and crew I can reach.
