Astro is one of the most popular anime characters you'd think companies would have the brains to re release them.

Yeah i was actually thinking of just buying the first volume on vhs...who knows when they will bother to bring it out on dvd.

How many volumes are there in the BW series? They have the 30th anniversary set, but there are also some others there that are just normal. Is there any difference?

Sounds like your in the same boat as me. I want the 80's series too, but on DVD. And i don't know if or when they will be out.

So u think just getting the videos is better? I didn't really know what to go for, i would like them on dvd but they aren't. But if i buy them on vhs they might come out on dvd down the track. Any ideas on what i should do?
