Re: Boston Dynamics & OTHER MANUFACTURERS AGAINST KILLER ROBOTS
I'd say that robots using deadly force in a self defense situation (of humans, NOT itself - except if they are also protecting a human at the time) would be acceptable. IE: the robot could kill or disable human attackers if it was protecting human friendlies at the time.

According to Wikipedia "Amana's Radarange, introduced in 1967, was the first compact microwave oven made for home use." So units made for industrial or restaurant use might have been made earlier. I'm not sure about 1946, though the magnetron tube was invented a few years before that.

Re: "Robotic" 3D printer names
IIRC the Ender 5 series are core XY designs where the print nozzle moves in the X&Y directions and the build plate in the Z direction. The Ender 3 series copy the Prusia design where the build plate moves in the Y direction, and the print nozzle in the X & Z directions. Technically, the Core...

"Robotic" 3D printer names
About 8-10 years ago I built my first 3D printer from scratch. It's design was based on various designs found in the online Rep-Rap project. Re: 183, Japanese People from Space (--,--)
I always wondered about the 'joke' with police cars drawn as dogs. I thought that was an American joke, not something the Japanese would have thought of.

Re: ABOUT TO REPLACE MY OLD HDD, BUT--
So long as the interface is compatible (ie: SATA), then no problems. The cache is an internal buffer in the hdd that is faster to read and write than the disk itself. If your computer can't keep up with the fastest speed possible on the interface (ie: doesn't support the faster, but backward compati...

Re: thinking of a solid-state drive for W10 upgrade
You can get extension cables for the power leads (male on end, female the other) and then mount the SSD anywhere you want. There are also 4 pin molex (old style HD power) to SATA power extension cables available, and many computers have at least one unused HD molex power lead available.

I've also used Google Earth (google maps) to find the museum, and then was able to walk into it from the street view. Only part of the museum was actually on line, but most of the lower level was.
