Ah but could he be struggling to decide to help Bruton or Brondo? I doubt when he saying Commonturk here that he's referring to Bruton - the killer robot who's just kidnapped his sister

Wow I never would've believed it. Always thought the 'Turk' part was meant for Brondo considering his Eastern origins/locale

I think the Canadian Dub was the same of the Australians and Bora was definitely NOT Bruton's name, Bora was the name of ..... well Bora ---- That insanely powerful, albeit stupid, monster of a robot that destroys Bruton.

The character I think I've warmed to the most was one from the 80s series. He was in the 'Greatest Robot in the World' episodes, looked after children and was powered by the sun or something.

Forgotten his name though

Hahahaah. You have no idea how many people say that. We're a five day, 8:15 - 3:20pm school and in spite of my obvious preference for a particular Astroboy character - looking after kids that age drives me bonkers. God bless their hearts and souls but....Oh.....my.....GOD! "Mr D can I be your partne...

Looking at Epsilon from 2003 I suppose it makes sense. Photar grew a nose for the 1980s series (1960s Photar didn't have a nose) so it makes sense he'd change gender for 2003.
