Probably Tamao/Alejo; he's just so enthusiastic and fan boyish that its hard not to gravitate towards him.

And I don't know if this counts as a side character, but Shunsaku Ban. I like how eccentric he is, and yet he's actually still pretty competent and reliable.

I don't think it's a problem that your answer is so short. Sometimes the shortest answers are the best. Also, it doesn't help that I can get a bit long winded at times.

Anyway, I agree with you. HIs kind and sweet nature do make him very endearing, and it becomes one of his strengths.
