Your hackles certainly seemed to be raised, regardless of what you're saying... Relax, man. I haven't even seen any version of the show; it's just a collection of immature idiots that poisoned the idea of it for me, and thus, I get a little weary whenever I see it crossed with something that I happen to like, especially since I don't really know anything about it, and kind of feel like I'm obligated to know it by heart (kind of how I used to feel like I was obligated to have a Facebook; I eventually caved on that front, but for no reason other than there were pages it wouldn't allow me to see). Uppity fandom syndrome and all that. Plus it's kind of everywhere; I can't escape it...

I have no idea who that could possibly be. The movies weren't as good as the books, anyway...

Well if you've never even seen the show then .... well never mind! I didn't intend to give him more than a token reference, but I came up with a way to hang an ending on the story around one of the heavies in the Who canon (sorry about that).

As far as the character in Harry Potter, IIRC it was one of the members of the Wizarding government or something like that who was in league with you-know-who. I forget which film it was, probably either the 'goblet of fire' or the one after that.

Hm. That could mean a few people...

I know that David Tenant(sp?) played Barty Crouch, Jr. in that particular film. He wasn't strictly government-related, though; his dad was a fairly prominent member of the ministry...

There's also Lucius Malfoy, who didn't actually work there. I forget his actor's name...

And I only ever saw the sixth, seventh, and eighth movies once (well, twice for the seventh one, if you count the fact that we walked into the wrong showing because we were in a hurry because my going to the bathroom at the dentists' office made us late, and so we ended up missing, like, most of the first half and had to rent it/buy it, I don't remember which it was but I'm sure we own it), so I don't know about the many characters there... (I don't think that the sixth one was as heavy with that sort of political intrigue at the time; at least not obviously...)

Anyways, I suppose that could pose a massive problem, writing so much at once. Although I dunno about four stories... I guess you haven't posted it?

And I've never been able to write more than oneshots, myself. I am the oneshot queen, essentially. (Although, her highness needs to climb up off her laurels and do some more (decent) writing soon, if she is to keep her crown, aha. God I sound conceited I'm so sorry)
