Battle of Steel Island: Alternate Ending

Wow that was seriously good! (and I don't say that much) I like the different outcome to Astro actually firing. That was one of my favourite moments in the anime, cause you think "is he gonna do it?" so to see this happen in a fanfic is very cool. And having Astro return home I like too because although he's scared he hasn't run away, like he knows he's done wrong and has to own to up to it

My only critic is I don't believe O'Shay would want to cause Astro pain, likely he would've just snapped that Kura ringlet around his neck and ended it quickly. He seemed too much like Tenma at that point, you gotta remember O'Shay the compassionate type ^_^

But the fact with him shutting Astro down is a high possiblity if he believed Astro could be a danger to others, or they could be a danger to him. So shutting him down seems like O'Shay's way of not just protecting everybody, but Astro himself. Because likely humans are gonna hear about this and try and come after Astro.

So it's got me wondering now what the doctor will do, if he'll store him someplace safe (I doubt he'd dismantle him after caring for him like a son) unless Shadow and the other robots get a hold of him believing Astro's now on their side.

sieriously if I were in astro's boots and killed drake, I would probably throw up if I was able to that is, I can't imagine what it would be like to have killed sombody.

I was thinking, what if Astros artificial brain 'freezes' or gets affected by a virus of some sort...or even worse, a data corruption?
