I've had the steam punk Astro idea in my head for a while now (he's a robot so it made it perff) I want to see more steampunk astro though

I've had an idea for a steampunk Atom for a long time, but I have not had the adequate means to execute it properly... that, and the concept is rather vague (as far as drawings go; I had another decent idea for another medium... that I can't pull off either, due to lack of talent- and sufficient supplies). :T

I have my tablet now, but I cannot, as of yet, manage to install the darn thing.

This is no such thing as a "form of Linux". Linux is a kernel, and as such is exactly the same (with the difference of the versions) whatever "form of Linux" you have What is changing though is the distribution, and the window manager. The last one has of course a strong impact on the visual appearance of the whole thing.
