Ah, yes, it was YOU! Heheh I actually have a bunch of the 2003 characters representing the Undertale ones. Of course I'll have to make some tweaks to the original lore here and there due to different relationship measures, but for now I have: Bear-Chan as Flowey(Shadow is Omega Flowey), Ochanomizu as Toriel, Uran as Papyrus, Atlas as Sans, Blue Knight as Undyne, Pluto as Asgore, Dr. Tenma as Asriel, and of course, Atom as Frisk and Tobio as Chara. I don't know who I'll put for Alphys(Reno, maaaybe) and Mettaton(....Um). I'm gonna draw them too next time! Oh, and speaking of our fabulous leg robot, I always wonder how Atom will react to Mettaton... EX, specifically. It'd be hilarious to watch And when you mention it, now I'd really want to see him interact with the actual characters of Undertale. I bet Atom would love Toriel, even if he can't eat her butterscotch cinnamon pie. (Thanks for such sweet compliments, you really made my day heeheehee:heart

Haha, fabulous leg robot! (I haven't seen that part yet-- but I'm pretty in the know. I started watching a commentary-less pacifist play through and I've only gotten to Waterfall (snail races)) Bear-Chan does fit Flowey, being the unsuspecting... You know. Maybe we could match up characters from the other series, like with Cobalt as Paps. (He fits the role SO WELL) Maybe Mettaton would be... I don't know who fits his job description. I can see Denkou (2003) as Napstablook, though. (You're welcome!)

Look what I've ended up with, a big group drawing of all the Astro Boy adaptions I've currently watched XD The lineart took way too much time, and once again, I don't think I'll be colouring this any time soon :/

I honestly wanted to add PLUTO! Atom as well, with his cool fly saucer toy, but gave up with that idea. And I hardly know anything about the manga and original anime and what Atom likes to play with there, so that was a no too.

I guess you left out the 1963 version and the Manga version, since (I'm guessing) from left to right we have 1980, 2003, RB, LAB, and movie AB (2009).

Yep! I'm so glad you could distinguish all the different Atoms(Uh... Wait), this is the first time I've drawn some of the versions and I was worried I might make it too unclear.

I haven't encountered the 1963 and manga version enough to actually draw from them... Tell me, does the manga Atom ever visually play/do hobbies?

At least in the ELV version of the '63 anime they only seem to show his "super-hero" side, and never the child like side. In the Manga Atom is sometimes shown interacting with his human friends in play like activities, although only briefly.

That's actually Atom from the manga on the bottom.

So it is. It's also from the original Japanese, NOT the Dark Horse since he's facing left. In the Dark Horse edition he faces right because they flipped all of the images so that the book would open with the spine on the left as is normal for English Language books, while Japanese Manga books open with the spine on the right (like a Hebrew prayer book).

I wish they hadn't done that!
