Yes, when people refer to a cat's "boots" they do mean the feet. I see my memory of his rendition was faulty, but his legs should have been a little "fatter". You simply drew him (and Atom) more "real life" than "manga" style, which isn't a bad thing per say.
I'm not sure why your rendition of Atom looks older, though maybe he looks a bit more "developed" muscle wise in his chest. Also those "bike" shorts look good on him! (Yeah I can see Atom beating L.A. in the Tour de France!)

I couldnt resist drawing a couple things from my fic called the StarBorne (which is still in progress and currently being rewritten. The process is slow going due to busy schedules but Ill try to have it out soon

I've also been enjoying your fanfiction, it's interesting how you've kept Toby/Astro/(Whatever he will be called) a human there. Well he's not
just a ordinary human anymore, but still? And I don't why, but Dr. Tenma thinking "screw the government and my country and the future of science my son is priority!!!" made me laugh so hard!
P.S. I'm crawling on my knees with shame because I haven't finished your piece yet. I'm so sorry! I've just arrived in Korea and I'm rushing through math classes and homework, I haven't even had time to unpack my tablet from my trunk. Thank you for being patient... I'm such a mess
