719: If (I was 13 back then I think) Tezuka Productions has special events in Taiwan (My home country XD ) and you are rather excited! I didn't have time to go to the exhibitation of Tezuka's works in my hometown (Taipei) but at least my mom and I had time to drop by at the souvenirs area and bought:

1. Astro Boy and Black Jack mangas
2. A DVD (Which includes a few episodes from the original Astro Boy 1980 series, with Mandarin subtitles so I can understand what they're talking about)
3. Three cute little minifigures (I bought two Atomus, my mom got Princess Sapphire)

Good thing she likes Tezuka manga or I'll probably be stuck at home in front of my desk - preparing for tests (Yuck!) just like usual.
I joined this forum in late 2013 when I was 15 going on 16. Ignore my oldest posts, they embarrass me so much that I've considered permanantly leaving the forum more than once. I've grown out of my fangirling phase over Black Jack, Atom and Uran ages ago but the memories still embarrass me at times... :unsure: Though, I try to be more open-minded about it and accept it as an "interesting stage of my life". :tezuka:

723: You become MUCH more interested what's going on in Japan and want to learn the language so you can enjoy the original manga and anime (and feel bad that at your age that's not going to be easy :-( )
