RPG-The Hoshie Files; Have we met before?

H; Astro! Could you come here for just a second?

(Hoshie suddenly notices that Astro is gone)

O; What's wrong Hoshie? Wait, where's Astro!? And why is the window open!?

(Hoshie just stands there silently)

H; I don't know, but I have a hunch...

O; Well then what are we waiting for, let's go!

H; Right!

(They run frantically out of the room)

(Later in O'Shay's car, poor O'Shay is attempting to catch his breath)

H; You know, a man of...your age...really shouldn't run so fast...

O; Neither should a nurse practitioner, for that matter.

H; What?...Oh, right, of course!...How silly of me...(chuckles nervously)

[Astro Forever]

O'Shay: So where do we go? You said you had a hunch...

Hoshie: Hmmm yes, but not a very precise one... There's an isolated location we could try, but it might not be safe.

O'Shay: We don't have time to worry about that. Let's go.

O'Shay left as quick as he could, and before he knew it, a police car was behind them.

Meanwhile, Astro reached the bottom of a small mountain, a few hundreds of kilometers away.

The robot dog entered through an opening in the rock, and Astro followed.

Meanwhile, back at O'Shay and Hoshie, they have been stopped by Tawashi

T; Well, I always knew I'd be giving you a speeding ticket someday O'Shay.

O; (chuckles) Sorry about that, it's just that were in a bit of a hurry-

H; Oh come on! Just pay the man and go!

T; You!

H; Oh, uh...Hello Inspector.

T; Well, I see you haven't changed.

H; Oh come now. You don't expect a person to change their outlook on life after only one day, do you?

T; Look Miss Hoshie, I appreciate that you understand the value of justice. But there's a difference between robot vigilantism, and just being reckless.

H; Oh, and I'm sure YOU know how to disable a robot properly.

T; Do you?

H; Well...not exactly, I just knew that you had to disable it...

(She just smiles, rather embarrassed at this point)

T; My point exactly. (Rips the ticket out of his notepad and hands it to O'Shay) There you go, have a nice day.

O; Uh...You too...

[Astro Forever]

Astro followed the dog, and after a few minutes, he saw a man. He was lean, tall and dark-haired. He smiled, but his smile made Astro shiver.

Man: "Tobio, here you are!"

Astro: "Who are you?"

Man: "I will let you decide what I represent for you. We need to discuss first. You see, there is a danger coming up, something not even your dear Dr. O'Shay can foresee. You can play a key role in the solution, if you want."

Astro: "You are not being very clear. What's wrong? What kind of danger?"

Man: "Chaos. The world will never be the same."

Astro was not very impressed, nor frightened. "Prove me what you are saying".

(The man just simply smirks as he skits down in his chair)

Man; I'm sure you've noticed it by now.

A; Noticed what?

Man: How much you've grown.

A; I don't understand what you mean. I'm just me.

Man; Then how do explain things such as your arm cannon?

(Astro just stands there stunned, unsure of what to say to that. Needless to say, the man just smirks at him with confidence)

Man; You can', can you?

A; Well...not really...It's just something that happened one day...

Man; Ah, but don't you see Tobio? That is the beauty of evolution.

A; Evolution?

[Astro Forever]

Man: Yes. The world changes. People learn. Robots improve, too. You're very impressive now you know, but I know you can be even more. Nothing can stop you, except the people around you; they don't fully understand you. You will never realize your amazing potential if you remain with them. See, I'm surrounded by robots. Great robots, but none just like you. Nonetheless, I think you should meet them, and we're going to make this little trip.

Astro: No, I don't need that. I think you are wrong, I am very well where I am.

Man: Really? Let's see...

The man turned on a screen. Then a picture appeared, and Astro recognized the man and himself, but he couldn't remember when that had happened.

Man: These people, they all know about this, but they never told you anything. You see what I mean?

Astro started having doubts. What if the man was right? What was the meaning of this?

Astro: Why can't I remember this?

[Prettywitchiusaka]

Man; I'm afraid I can't tell you that just yet.

A; Why not?

Man; It's a bit hard to explain. But believe me Tobio, you will learn everything when the time is right.

A; But...my name is Astro.

Man; (snickers) So, you're still going by his name, are you?

A; Well of course! I mean...how do I know you're not lying to me?

Man; Really? And how do you know that him and Hoshie aren't lying to you?

A; Wait, you know Hoshie?

(the man merely smirks at this before responding)

Man; You could say that...

A; What do you mean?

[Astro Forever]

Man: Others have told me a lot about this woman. Don't you find her a little mysterious?

Astro: That's right.

Man: So, you see what I mean. I know a lot. Why don't you trust me? I'll give you a mission, and then you will decide for yourself whether I am good or not.

Astro: And what my mission will be?

Man: Actually, it's not mine, but many robots need your help. You can't let them down.

"Either way, somebody is not truthful with me. Perhaps here I will be able to get more answers", Astro thought.

A; What would you want me to do?

Man; Simple; you will need to fight a powerful adversary.

[Astro Forever]

Astro: But why?

Man: Because if you don't, this robot will go after other robots. None of them can defend themselves the way you do. And by doing so, you'll be recognized as the best robot.

Astro: I'm not going to fight without a good enough reason, and you did not give me one. It's very vague. It's better to end this conversation now. Have a nice day, sir.

Astro left the place, but only moments later, he saw a huge shadow. The object responsible was behind him.
