Queensrÿche - Rage For Order

Singer Geoff Tate had a god-like voice back in those days!

Liquid Tension Experiment 2

A fun instrumental prog metal album with three of the members from Dream Theater (though Rudess wouldn't be with DT until after this album was recorded and Portnoy is no longer with the band as of 2010) and a member from King Crimson. If you're a heavy metal fan looking for something different, this is your album to listen to!

Savatage - Gutter Ballet

Criss Oliva forever! He was probably the world's most talented guitarist.

Circle II Circle - The Middle Of Nowhere

Ex-Savatage singer Zak Steven's 2nd solo effort. Love his powerhouse vocals on that one!

Supertramp - The Very Best Of

This thread's been dead too long.

Been listening to this all week.

Um, is it okay for me to revive this thread?

Uhm... I like J-Pop and K-Pop. *Feels weird for being different. Feels left out. Hides in corner*

I do adore BoA, KARA, Janne da Arc, and globe. (Especially globe XD) I do have a picture of one of their albums, but it's apart of Here I am, and sadly since it's on my psp, and apart of that song, I cannot share it. :/ As you can see, I'm not much into english music. I'm international.

I adore J-Pop and K-Pop! My favorite band is The Melody, they're Korean. But I don't think they're active anymore. :( But luckily, I have a copy of their only song album. ;) They aren'r famous so I can't find any pics of them, but here's a link to my favorite song by them. Sorry if this is off-topic.

I also like Joe Hisaishi's music - he did most of Studio Ghibli's backround music and wrote tons of songs for them. :)

I love the voices of Ayano Tsuji, Asako Toki, and Yano Akiko.

By the way, it's nice to see someone who's not Asian like me appreciate non-mainstream Asian music. :) In my class, everyone's crazy about Super Junior and Girl's Generation and a whole lot of silly Taiwanese singers. Ugh.
I joined this forum in late 2013 when I was 15 going on 16. Ignore my oldest posts, they embarrass me so much that I've considered permanantly leaving the forum more than once. I've grown out of my fangirling phase over Black Jack, Atom and Uran ages ago but the memories still embarrass me at times... Though, I try to be more open-minded about it and accept it as an "interesting stage of my life". :tezuka:

Yeah, well I'm not much into English music. They kinda all sound the same to me. Same beat and such. However, it's different with J-pop and K-pop. Some of them (Like techno) may sound the same, but with a different pace and such. And I think it's more fun to dance and sing to, other than English music. (I get bored of English music very fast. I listen to it for a couple of days or weeks, then I get bored of it and don't listen to it anymore.) I do have some songs of Katy Perry, but as I said, I do not listen to them much anymore. I have lost interest and they got old pretty quickly. I am not much a big of a fan of Katy Perry, but some of her songs are okay.

Though, I guess I grew up around J-pop and K-pop, and that's mostly why I  it. The songs have soo much energy and just make you want to dance. XD I'm not such a big fan of Girls Generation either, but my brother seems to listen to them a lot. (And some male bands that I cannot pronounce or spell the name of. I think it's like shining or something like that. I think there is also EXO he listens to as well, though they are okay.)

But, my most favorite J-pop and K-pop bands are Globe, Janne Da Arc (Which I have watched a concert they had eight years ago back in 2005 on youtube last night, and they did play songs I remebered like Blackjack,Gekkoka, and Dolls.) BoA,KARA, and I'm also starting to listen to a few of Ami Suzuki's songs, which are pretty good.

There's also Vocaloid, but since they aren't a pop group (and don't really exists as a human being), they are just somewhere floating around a different section of my favorite music. But the Artists who make the music counts, so I guess it is so. :)
