Atom is supposed to be 9 in his more recent incarnations, 12 in his original. Haley is 14 going 15, and therefore too mature for the role. His face has lost its childhood roundness, it simply would not work well. B)

i was checkin' out the chinese malls and found VCD's of the official live action version of "Black Jack". but yes....either Johnny Depp or Tony Leung Chiu-Wai would be a great Black Jack.

Kelly Chen would make a great Epsilon.

I still haven't seen volumes 11-17 of the 80's astroboy so I have no idea who blackjack is but i thought Dr Roget was one of the coolest characters on astroboy and yes the role would fit Johnny Depp like a glove.

Black Jack's the unlicensed doctor with that scar on his face.

and Christopher Lloyd would make a perfect Dr. Ochanomizu if he gained a little weight....fuse his makeup in The Addams Family and Back to the Future and you basically get Dr. Ochanomizu (aka Dr. O'Shay)
