Mother and child are reunited! Actually Wato & Sharaku were classmates in THE THREE-EYED ONE. When the bandage comes off, Sharaku becomes a genius, but just a bit evil. Wato becomes attracted to him, where before, she was more like a big sister, needing to come to his rescue. Lovers, not quite; perhaps Wato's love was unrequited.
