Beast From 20,000 Fathoms

In regard to its “lost episode” status in Japan, what’s the story. Apparently the Good Doctor hated the end result, but I never understood why, just that another studio was involved in making it.

Article about the production of this episode says that Tez gave his staff the week off, & used Studio Zero to make this; yet, Tez was very dissatisfied with result, & had the ep destroyed after shipping a copy to Fred Ladd.

All it says is that the staff had the week off, & Studio Zero made this.

I believe the correct English title for this episode is "Beast from 20 Fathoms". "Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" is the title of a Ray Harryhausen effects laden film from 1953.--Astrobuddy
