Naughty little Uran

I just viewed the new series' 13th episode; and although I could understand little dialogue, I did understand that Uran who makes her debut here, is very naughty. Just as she was depicted in the 80s series, so is she here: she has an eye for mischief, but a heart of gold. Thank Dr. Ochanomizu/Elefun for this little girl!

Well sticking up for us females She truly was made a girl because "girls just wanna have fun" (come on you know it was going to be said sooner or later) but She is a handful. I just hope my girls are less trouble as the get older. But she knows how to let her hair down(Yes I know she has molded hair) And yes thankyou Dr Elefun

Some of the charm is missing, though. In the 80s version, Uran comes out of her Oblong box* and after assulting Ochanomizu's nose, performs a Shirly Temple - like tap dance, accompanied by a cute song and music.

*It does indeed resemble a coffin, except that its hindge is on the wrong side, and the top is not two pieces! I found this both amusing and morbid.

Considering that it was white rather than woodgrain, it does resemble a refridgerator, except that it had a body inside it.

See episode 13 to learn the answer. I speak no Japanese, but I found it quite easy to understand, even without the subtitles. So far, only ep 11 has left me stumped as what was going on.

Atom has just rescued his new kid sister from the terror in episode 13. Uranium had this to say:


"I was soooo scared... boo hoo, sob, sniffle"

"That bad thing was so scary!"

"I'm so glad you saved me!"

These artists really know how to draw frightened faces.
