Lightray: "Nice sound! I'd like this, I don't want to give it away."

:wahah: Lightray's answer reminds me on a scene from the movie 'Naked Gun 2 1/2':
Two bomb experts just found a ticking time bomb, and one of the guys went like "Now that's what I call a beautiful alarm-clock. Who in the world threw that in the trash?"

The other guy: "Nice, but it seems to go inaccurate."

- "Just a second, I'll adjust it......"

tickticktickticktickticktickticktickticktick BOOOOMM!

:D :D :D

I'm really sorry to push this topic up, but I'm a real Skunk's fan llol
Yes, he's so dark, and the gangster "par excellence" like we said home ^^

So, I like collect some pics too, and it does'nt have many on google images, yahoo images, etc.

What is you're favorite story with this character ? :D
How old is he ? and ... I wonder the name of each guy of the gang :p
Do you prefer the old "blue" Skunk or the new version, in the 2003's ?

On the topic of age, if you look at his migshot card from the kitchen scene in "Into Thin Air", it says that he's 28. "The Light Ray Robot" claims he was born in 2007, and given that the 1980's series is set in 2030-2035, he's at least 24 there.

And none of the guys in his gang are named, but my friend and I made up a bunch of names a while back.

And for some reason, I like both versions of him.

Thank you Fauna ^^

Skunk and he's gang are very funny characters, and already when I was a kid there was my favorites :p irate: Probaly my dark side :p

I reassure you : I'm not a bad girl, no malicious; but I have a "weak" for this kind of character :ninja:

So, you like the both versions ? Interesting !
I found him "cutest" and less stupid in the 2003's version than in the 80's llol

I find his 2003 look more sinister. His blue 1980s appearance looks less evil and more like he's Ill. As if he got Food poisoning or something

Actually, to a child ages 2-8, 1980's Sunk can be rather terrifying.

To the point, I like his earlier version because he was an extremely memorable character in my childhood TV viewing...and his later version, because there he's charismatic, and powerful and handy on his own.

Don't get me started how he was in the 60's anime, where he had almost no hair and had duck lips.

I agree, Fauna and Dragonrider ^^

I think that dialogues in the 80's serie was really empty and stupids, and that wasn't to help the character to be as sinister than "now" (2003's serie). Sorry, I'm not sure to be clear  I mean, that dialogues seems better in the 2003's serie, and that it contribues to show a darker character than the earlier version. (ouf ! that's it I think llol)

Thank you Jeffbert for the link :)

the 1980 series' English dub did have a few episodes whose dialogue seemed rather lacking in emotion, as though the voice actors were reading the scripts for the 1st time. :astro: But the 2003 version also had its flaws. The American team cut away much of its cuteness, made Astro seem more like Bart Simpson than like Atom, and cut away the Bleah shots. I no longer have the 1980s on VHS, but I do not think that Uran's bleah was cut from her debut episode. :p
