Buck is badly injured, but he doesn't die. Since his father died, they won't be able to repair him and give him his special powers, but I would find it hard to believe that nobody could give him moving arms and legs.

umm... that makes me think.... when they changed Atlas to the red bodyed robot what he is in the 2003... so to make for the loss they make the blue knight look like the old 1980's atlas... what do you think?

It's more that the 1980 Atlas somehow became a mix of Atlas and the Blue Knight as they had been in the 60s. From what I understood, they were back in their original roles in 2003.

It's more that the 1980 Atlas somehow became a mix of Atlas and the Blue Knight as they had been in the 60s. From what I understood, they were back in their original roles in 2003.

I believe that 1980s Atlas was that series' Blue Knight. It would have required an additional episode to detail his origin, which in the earlier versions did not involve Atom, so they mixed him into Atlas, whose origin did involved Atom.
