I saw Pinoko, Black Jack (page 7, panel two), Shibugaki, Shunsaku, Rock, and the Hyotantsugi as a student. The Blue Energy core looks very familiar, too...have any of you seen much of Giant Robo?

As page nine says, Movie Astro is supposed to be thirteen years old. On the same page, Astro is very very creepy.

But I like it so far. I'll consider picking up all four issues when they come to town.

I spotted Tamao/Specs as one of the students in the classroom but I'm not sure if that is really him.

My minor gripe is that I would have wanted Tobio to have the "hairy" hair style rather than the solid hard edge hair style because Tobio is suppose to be human. This feature will help the audience differicient Tobio from Astro.

OH. Oh geez. That was supposed to be Tobio?! I didn't even know; I thought this was taking place while Astro was first pretending to be Tenma's son! I would have expected him to have fluffy brown hair, like you said. Hopefully this is what's going to happen in the movie...

Maybe your right, Fauna. A good hint is that Tobio/Astro was able to pass the exam with flying colors. I guess the only way to find out is to wait till the movie is release or if you don't mind spoiler, read the movie-adapted comics.

Wow, Toby's a real sneaky one in this, isn't he? Ah well, at least he actually has a personality now I love the Tezuka character cameos. Makes me feel more like they know what they're doing
