Astro Boy 2003 had a movie?

Hey Satus, check this thread out. The IMAX film is unfortunately still unattainable, but you can rent downloads for the shorter ones for cheap.

The only way of obtaining this as far as I can tell is via illegal means, so let's not go there. I doubt that a 2003 movie can be released 8+ years later from its original release date.

Technically a 2005 movie, as far as I can tell has only been projected in 2 or 3 places. It seems likely to me that they're still hoping some IMAX theaters rent it first before they go and distribute it on home video. After all, after they do this the movie will become common, and its originally intended method of viewing will not be an option any more. I have no doubt that they will release it for home viewing one day. As part of an Astro Boy 2003 10th Anniversay boxset would be cool.
