i agree with you totally on these.. the mods are being bias i think.

Well I didn't say that, exactly. It's completely up to the mods discretion if they want advertising on a forum they run and I can understand why (and also agree that) these posts were undesireable/spamming. On the other hand, I wouldn't personally be against a specific section just for this kind of thing either - might be interesting. But then, it's not necessary either.

well.. if you guys are truly Fans of AstroBoy,

I guess it will be quite Cool to collect items from around the world since some items are available in certain countries but not in your country.

Nobody's arguing that, in my opinion, es-crew, and I don't see this at all as a bias against other countries in the least. I've gotten merchandise from other countries too and personally enjoy seeing new things out there (including these shirts). But it's a bit different me searching something out or even sharing a find with forum members than someone explicitly joining the forum to advertise *their* product. Again, I wouldn't mind if there was a separate forum section for this type of thing, but *most* forums I've been on in the past discourage outright advertising in the main forum sections, even if it's not expressly stated in the rules. The fact is that user (5 posts; all advertisements) appears to have joined for the sole purpose of selling things, which tends to rub people the wrong way.

Maybe different countries work differently.
Because there have been many forums i've been into allows advertising and sharing of items.. they even create a "marketplace" for sellers to advertise their items openly in the forum...
examples of forums are: flowerpod, hardwarezone etc...

"es-crew" wrote:General Rules

The following rules apply to all members and every forum. Offending topics will be closed (no further responses allowed) or in extreme cases, removed all together. Repeated offenses may warrant in your posting privileges being revoked indefinitely.

* Respect the other members.
Do not flame, bash or insult the other members. Treat the other members with the same respect that you would expect from them. Remember, we are all from different nations, have different cultures, embrace different beliefs and are all entitled our own opinions. If you feel you cannot abide by this most basic rule, then please leave.
* No Political or Religious discussions.
Though the General Discussion forum has been provided as a place to talk about almost anything, there are some threads that are just better left unstarted and such topics often only lead to heated arguments and offended members with hurt feelings.
* No swearing.
Please remember that we are a community for all ages and that many Astro fans are young children. Do not attempt to bypass the swear filter, it is in place for a reason.
* No trolling or baiting.
Do make posts that are deliberate attempts to anger the community or entice arguments. Such posts will be removed immediately.
* No posting of illicit or explicitly pornographic material.
This includes the posting of links to sites containing such material, be they in your signature or otherwise.
* No blatant advertising.
Do not start a thread for the sole purpose of selling something. Advice on where to buy products or merchandise is acceptable if it is relevant to the topic at hand. Signature links to stores are fine.
* No multiple accounts.
Only one account per person is allowed. If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one from the forums. If you would like your username changed, please contact a moderator and they will gladly fix you up.

PS: Which part of these RULES state that no one is allow to sell anything online and which part of these RULES state that "you need to ask the moderators before advertising"?

I'm just being very curious on how this forum works?

You might need an eye exam.

But even if that rule were not there, you still fail to provide any information about the shirts' manufacturer! Your eBay account has no feedback. If you wanted to sell on eBay, you should first buy, & establish a positive feedback history.

I am sorry that I so hastily banned your 1st account; I should have allowed you a time to talk about this. But my critiques of your attempt at selling are fair. I would not buy something under those conditions.
  1. no secure way of ordering.
  2. no returns allowed
  3. you screen all comments, supposedly for a good reason, but-- :lol: nobody can complain, either!

Do not expect to get too many buyers on eBay; oh, there may be a few, but there are the young & naive everywhere.

Here is the rule. Essentiel-style has done blatant advertising.
