Tezuka Related Titles Nominated for Eisner

Tezuka's influence is still strong as The Art of Osamu Tezuka: God of Manga, a compilation of Tezukas own private collections of sketches and drafts along with a motley assortment of popular goods and studio files released by Helen McCarthy and Pluto, Naoki Urasawa's reworking of the classic Astro Boy arc, "The Greatest Robot on Earth" both got nominations for the 2010 Eisner Awards, which is like the Academy Awards for Comic Book related works.
The Art of Osamu Tezuka has been nominated for Best Comics-Related Book and Pluto is up for Asia's Best US Edition Of An International Material and Best Limited Series/Story Arc.
