Favorite character, eh?

I thought that a person's favorite character is the one they have on their avatar, which isn't true. D'oh.

One of my favorite characters is Professor O'Shay as a whole - not a specific series. He is always portrayed as a nice, friendly caring guy that is always willing to sacrifice anything for Astro...a father figure... After Temna decides to go abandon Astro in every series and the film O'Shay is always more then willing to take him in and treat him like his own son, which is magnificent.
Imagine for a second that O'Shay didn't exist, and Astro always stayed with HamEgg - where would Astro be now? Taming robotic circus elephants, maybe?
In the '09 film, O'Shay tried to convince Temna to keep Astro, and although he didn't O'Shay told him that he, like all other people, had a special place in life. The same goes for when he told Astro that it isn't his fault when President Stone ordered Temna to shut Astro down. Those were probably the most emotional parts of the film that I liked.
And of course the nose...

Yes I remember mentioning her in that thread although I no longer have quite a strong crush for her as I did at the time when I posted in that other thread. She's still very cute though.

I do not know who is best, but by far, the cutest is Pipi-chan, the merboy of 1980s MONSTER OF KURAKEN. btw, HE WAS ALSO IN THE B&W DOLPHINS IN DISTRESS, though nowhere as cute.
