Yes, it sucks that English speaking countries can't seem to get a decent version of Astro to show to a new audience in recent years, but I doubt the 03 series will ever get the proper treatment it deserves (i.e., a better dub, or decent subtitles at the very least). But dubbing has gotten better since then, so all we can really do is hope that whatever comes along next will be better, I guess.
I don't know. I'm still holding out that AnimeSols will one day announce that they've acquired the Japanese version of the 03 series. I know it sounds like a pike dream, but you never know. It could happen.
Though, I try to be more open-minded about it and accept it as an "interesting stage of my life".
