Dam-Dam, The Head Hunter

That character appeared in the Mangá, Jetter Mars (also seem in the introduction which it attempt to capture Dr. Kawashimo and Miri) and as well the 1980 series.

Did he made an appearance in the 1963 anime too?

I know there is an alien robot which was also searching for it's missing head in both mangá and anime.

But, that don't make much sense and specially how the robotics have progressed.

So, if Tezuka Co. did a re-imagination of Dam-Dam's story, then he would not trying to steal other robots heads, because he would know which type of robot he is and how would be his own head.
So, by just looking he would realize other robots could not match his type of head.

But, I bet he could do some rampage, like breaking out robot warehouses anyway.

Also, I can tell that Skunk was involved in both the mangá saga of Dam-Dam and the anime.

Without checking, I think this story originated after the B&W series ended.

"The Faceless Robot" first appeared in the Manga in 1967 according to Dark Horse #16

Seems the Tezuka In English got a wrong information about Dam Dam.
