Endoscopy?

Postby atomicrush » 11 years ago

Would it be out-dated or progressively updated? Things that get me are, there are somethings that certain equipment can't see. It does become vary useful in the medical field, but could it apply to others as well? Roboticist can use these possibly as a last-resort. As one scanner my detect varied issues. Some are in depth & possibly hidden. So, who need it most? Some surgeons use this instead of making deep incisions on the body. This makes it harder to recover. I always the method implemented could be use to technology, in diagnostics & repair. It's upon the future to decide. Astro could be a candidate for such.

:tenma: - Astro, you have an endoscopy tomorrow in the morning.

:astro: - WHAT?

This may the weirdest thread I was using for scientific idea advancements. :D

actually using small cameras on sticks is a good way to get a look inside a machine, and contractors use a camera on a snake to look in all kinds of places that they can't get there heads.

I think what you mean is a Borescope. This scope comes flexible or rigid, but the insane cost ranges from 10,000$ to 50,000$ in this particular scope. Rigid is mostly good for looking into compartments or easy to reach places. Flexible on the other hand, they are used to reach hard places in the body you could not really get to or see hardly, there are situations where in a case there are certain places you can't touch (Restricted Areas) this can cause issues for the machine such as damage in some types pain.
