When is he Cobalt and when is he Jetto? Actually, after discovering the manga I just can't use the names from the English dub anymore, except for Elphun (cause I can't remember how to spell the Japanese 'O' name!) So I usually think of him as Cobalt.
That's a nice picture of the two of them together!

I guess it depends on the user. I tend to think of him as Jetto because that's how I was first introduced to the character; the same way I think of Astro Boy. But I use the Japanese originals when I am speaking of one of the episodes not dubbed. So I actually use the names interchangeably.

It depends on what I'm feeling at the given moment, what I end up referring to them as. Uran is always Uran, though.

Cobalt (Jetto) is a really a TV star. Before Cobalt was revived for television duty, he had only appeared in three stories; one of which was his origin and another which told of his demise. In 1964, the story which showed his death was reprinted and mention of his death was removed. He was then reborn as Astro Boy's older brother, where as in the original manga he was Astro Boy's younger brother. In the manga, he only appeared in three stories, being killed off in the third, while after his revival, he was featured in approximately 30 out of the 193 TV episodes. (Four or five of which were dubbed into English.)

Below are two different scenes featuring Coblat/Jetto. The first is from Jap. ep.# 139--"Atom's Been Stolen" and Jap. ep.# 193--"The Greatest Adventure on Earth"

Here is another interesting fact that illustrates Cobalt/Jetto was a big TV star.
Cobalt/Jetto's introductory episode was the third highest rated episode of the original series' broadcast in Japan. (The two episodes with higher ratings were: episodes#s 84(highest rated) & 56(second highest.)

Astro-xXx-Boy on FF.net is doing a story where Astro wishes he was human, and becomes human. Dr. Tenma builds him an "ironman" like suit, which he has called "Cobalt" See artwork here:

Actually I think his hair looks more like Mars here.
