OMG - I remember as a kid, I faked being sick so I could stay home and watch Astro Boy (the TV Guide used to give a story synopsis, and I knew I hadn't seen "Angel of the Alps." At this point they moved the broadcast time to something like 11 am!). I saw this scene and fell (even more) madly in love with him (if that's possible when you're 11 years old! )

He's just so unabashedly dashing and romantic (the other episode that got to me as a girl was the Terrible Time Gun - he was a knight in a joust! :whistling
