All of the above comes from #49.

I think this is new.

Also #49.

To be continued--

To summarize the above, the guy was trying to escape with that mysterious coin, was killed, the cops recovered the coin, & began investigating. 考古学者の赤貝博士 (Kōkogaku-sha no akagai hakase / Professor Akagai, the archaeologist) with the big hair, is brought in to discern the coin's mystery.

I guess the part with Atom & Shibugaki at the studio is just filler, borrowed along with the following clips from #49; I really do not see any relevance with the crook confronting the director.

Next, the part beginning with Tawashi giving Atom a nude suit is so he can infiltrate the suspect business. I think it works well, here, though so far, Skunk's involvement seems out of place. After Atom confronts Skunk, he finds a reel to reel tape player, runs it, then flies away to the place where the whip guy attacks him. He is overcome, & stung many times until Higeoyaji comes & clobbers the whip guy.

After Atom arrives at the house in the next to last frame, he enters & as is obvious, is confronted by the villains.

Though many clips from various episodes are used here, they are not used in the same order as in their original episodes. For instance, the last frame here (& several the will follow in my next post) come before the whip guy's attack in the originating episode.

Thanks for the upload!

Poor Atom never seems to be able to stay undercover for very long in many of his adventures. I think his role in the episode titled Angel of the Alps was his best job at being under cover, and he didn't even have a false flesh skin.

I think that may be because the writers were different, or, perhaps, such details were omitted because of the lack of space in the episode. As I recall, that one had little if anything that was not related to the plot. Other episodes, such as SEA SERPENT ISLAND, had a lack of relevant content, & used dancing fish as filler.

Lol yeah. There are a lot of fillers in the 60's series. Though thier wasn't much fillers in the 80s series. I can only think of two.

It does certainly vary from episode to episode, I think it does have to do with writers and how well they are able to write an episode well with the allotted time they have. This would be called story-boarding in animation terms.

Maybe the story-boarder just didn't know how to make the plot relevant for the full 20 or so minutes for various episodes and they had to figure out SOMETHING to do to fill the time. Thus - filler.

At least in the Indiana Jones we had a translation. Not that it helped me a lot though :p
