Guess we'll just have to wait and see if a version is available to watch online at some point or if it might be brought over to the US.

The robotatom.jp domain is already registered, for what it's worth. I'm kinda surprised they didn't take a .com, considering the international nature of the show...

Assuming this is even them. Could be a very old domain that coincidentally has the same name.

Yeah, I've seen that pic before. It's cute. I wonder how Yuuki x Atomu will react when she sees this? Probably shout kawaii in all caps.

Those jets appear to be in his feet, rather than the standard leg rockets.

If this is a preschoolers' show, then I don't see why they'd leave Uran or Cobalt out. (I mean, I can kind of see Cobalt being neglected, as per the norm, but.) After all, don't many children have siblings? I can see even Chi-tan being useful, as a means of educating young children about dealing with new siblings. Depending on the circumstances, Cobalt can either represent an older OR a younger brother, and in both scenarios, both he and Uran are useful in teaching how to properly behave as an older sibling.

Plus I'd really like to see stupid little family conflicts and disagreements between all of the siblings, which hasn't been seen in animation in decades (even the 2003 series is over ten years old by now...).

Oh gosh, one of my friends and I were actually speculating on what it would be like if Astro's other siblings were in this series and even came up with some basic plot ideas based on some of the "learning life lessons" plots you find in other kid's shows. They were actually pretty cute, so assuming we've achieved the right tone for this show, it probably could work to at least include Uran (Though I would like to see Cobalt too, however unlikely it may be). But even if they're not there immediately, I hope they show up at some point.

Man, wish I had some real life friends I can talk to about this series. But sadly I have none. But I think I really don't need any really. I'd rather be alone. Though, I enjoy talking about this new Astro boy series with web friends, so I feel rather pleased with that. .

Anyways, back to the series. I agree. They should add Cobalt,Uran and Chi-tan in this new series. I really want to see Cobalt and Chi-tan make a come back! They maybe might just show up eventually seeing as how these are just promo pictures. ! We just have to stay tuned to find out! (March is coming up in a few months guys! Can't wait so we can see the premiere of the series. XD!) I wonder if Tezuka may even make an appearance in this series as well. I wonder if we'll even see that Mushroom pig thingy (forgot the name.) as well. XD!

Yeah, I've seen that too. I guess they're just trying to entertain pre schoolers more with all those silly looking robots. (Kids like that kind of stuff. I used to watch barnie and tellytubbies when I was small for ex. ) Though, I never went to pre school since my mother wouldn't let me. So instead, I started school earlier than most kids. (Here I am, going off topic again. lol.)

lol. Yeah, he is even bigger than Atom. (Kinda scary really. Looks like he's about to eat Atom when he's licking his lips and staring at him like that. haha!) I don't think that's going to be the main character. It's just a promotional picture after all. It's probably just going to be around Atom from time to time. (you know, like one of his best robot friends. XD) Besides, you see more of Atoms friends than other robots. (I mean, just take a look at the series from the past. Hardly see any robots other than Atom.)

The squid thing is in the second image, so that's a good sign.

Back on the subject of domains,if they really registered robotatom.jp, the only explanation I could find is that they actually do plan to air this in Japan at some point. And they don't consider other countries important enough to give them their own site. Maybe the only team they have that's dedicated enough to create a website only speak Japanese.

I'm really psyched that this is coming out so soon but at the same time I'm worried that we won't be able to find any recordings anywhere on the net.
