I do not understand the changing of the 1st letter or sound from 't' to "ch" but it also occurs with 'Tybalt' --> 'Chibalt' & likely others also.

T Line as in the Japanese alphabet. The alphabet has an order which starts with the basic vowels and then moves on to sounds that begin with consonants (k, s, t, n, h, m, y, r, w, n).
