CORRECTION: JeffBert did not post scenes from the lost manga "Ti-tan", I did back in 2012 under the title ""SCENES FROM LOST MANGA "TI-TAN"! One of the many books I own in Japanese featured the first eight pages from the manga, "Mighty Atom Club" If the manga is actually lost or just felt as not important enough to reprint is a mystery to me!

Don't know what the word "Tike" means, but as for this set, it is a nice set. The episodes are published in more or less chronological order and each volume includes a card featuring the cover for the particular volume.

Great I have the first volume only. Again I believe the two manga episodes that originally appeared in "Mighty Atom Club" magazine, "Jungle Kingdom" and Ti-Tan" are not in this set as well. If they are, please let us know because as far as I know those two episodes have never been included in any reprint volume.

So, which one is the one you bought that had Chi-Tan?

That was a book about the history of Astro Boy and had thumbnail size pictures of the first eight pages of the manga episode and not the full manga episode per se.

I, finally found the title of the book on one of the posts i made while discussing "Cobalt/Jetto" with Jeffbert. Its translated title and the name of the author are: "JAPAN Astro Boy guide book: Zusetsu Tetsuwan Atomu" (by Seiji Mori)
