Fixed the image for you YJ Doodle. We've been having issues getting attached images to work on the site lately.

Yeah, he does kind of look like Litten doesn't he?

By the way, this cat now has a couple names: Tenma calls him "F14", because the cat was picked up in the Seventh Laboratory where it lived (and where Tenma and Hiroshi Ochanomizu work) by Tenma on February 14th.

However, Hiroshi Ochanomizu calls the cat "Tom" as a term of endearment.

Mark your calendars.

The Atom The Beginning anime debuts on April 15 at 11 PM. No announcement on any official English subbed versions yet, but I'm expecting Crunchyroll to announce an English subbed version in the coming days.

Can't wait! Well, actually I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer because even if this is going to be on Crunchyroll with English subs soon after the Japanese release, I don't have Crunchyroll and I'd prefer to have my own copy I can keep rather than accessing it through a streaming service, but the sooner it releases the sooner I should be able to find a way to buy a copy. (That is, assuming I can buy a copy, I probably won't have control of any of my money except for cash until I start college, and then I might not have money to spare... :unsure :) Oh well, the point is it's releasing in just over a month from now! :w00t:

Oh by the way, what timezone is 11 PM referring to? Is that in Japan since that's where it's releasing?

You can watch it free on Crunchyroll a week after they stream it for paid subscribers. I had no problems with Young Blackjack last year.

Yeah, that's referring to Japan Standard Time.

For North America, ATB will air on Saturdays at 7 AM Pacific Time / 10 AM Eastern Time (which may be relevant if Crunchyroll does a simulcast of ATB as it airs).

One of the reasons to be glad for ways of watching shows other than broadcast time; as a kid in elementary school I'd get up at 7 AM or earlier no problem, but now, on average, I sleep till 11 AM or later on Saturdays.

A flyer from the AnimeJapan 2017 event for Atom: The Beginning has revealed that the ATB anime adaptation will receive 12 episodes, according to Anime News Network.

Not too surprised by this, considering that the manga will only have 29 chapters by April 1. Also, a lot of anime nowadays tend to broadcast anime in 12-13 episode seasons, similar to Young Black Jack in the Fall of 2015 (though hopefully ATB receives more than one season unlike YBJ did).

Before I saw the second part of what you said, I thought this meant that the whole series would be 12 episodes (though I guess until a season 2 is confirmed, that is a possibility), instead of that season 1 would have 12 episodes. I was so confused, considering how many chapters of the manga have already been released.

No word yet. Crunchyroll has yet to announce their Spring 2017 line-up, which I think is when we'll get an announcement about it.
