can any one find out what trailers for other shows where on the end of the 1980 dubed astroboy tapes?

Welcome to the forums Jesse. I have the 1980 dvds - and there aren't any trailers. I also have VHS of a few of the 1960's episodes, and there were no trailers there, either.

Did you hear that there were trailers on the tapes? That would be cool to have!

OH YEAHHHH - Kitty Lue is onto something . . . if Fauna is out there, I'll bet she'll know about this -- there was a "Geronimo" question/answer thingie at the end. I can't quite remember it - but it's on the Canadian versions.

Hello, everyone. I have the set of nine VHS tapes that came out in the US before they were released on DVD. The VHS tapes end with previews for the next episode on each tape. On the DVDs released in the US, the previews show up as pages with short synopses for the individual episode. I don't know about the Siren Entertainment tapes. There were no trailers on the tapes for anything else. I hope this answers your question.

Did you want the actual list of episodes, Jesse? Each volume of the 2002 Manga Entertainment VHS release contained trailers after each episode, plus all the trailers for the next volume:

The only other edition to contain the English trailers is the Japanese bluray boxset, which has them in English and Japanese (no subtitles though).

Then the answer to your question is there are no trailers for other shows on any of the Astroboy tapes for the 1980s show.

it sounds like there where different versions of the tapes... all i know is thy where dubed and i got them from Australia
macross plus and lupin the 3rd are the only 2 i know where on there
