I was thinking the same thing when I first saw the phpbb setup
It does seem we'll eventually get a re-skin or something to make it look more like it did on vBulletin, though:

It was at that moment that I also realized that there is no multi-quote button in phpbb.
I was on mobile at the time and had to get on my PC to copy the text that I wanted from Mark's post before making this post so I could paste it here and manually quote it. I'd forgotten how useful that button was until now.

EDIT: On a side note, there also doesn't seem to be a calendar, which I remember the vBulletin forums had.

I've updated the forum theme. Hopefully it feels more like home now

If you notice any weirdness let me know and I'll get on it ASAP.

When going to any page that's shorter than the window size (like "New posts"), the background doesn't go all the way down. It should probably be applied to the parent container.

I'm liking the new look here. Particularly the backdrop.

Yeah, Mark got the darker background back. Now you can see the gray hair in my avatar.

The background is nice! I like the new look and the little Astro on the bottom of the page. Was he there on the old site?
Edit: This is a nitpick, but the three bars next to 'quick links' are not even. It's mildly annoying.

I like this one better. I browsed ABO through my phone, then was surprised to know the forum now goes blue.

Some signature pictures are still not showing, however.
