I have been watching HUM∀NS on amazon, & seeing various homages or borrowings from Mighty Atom. I just watched the 1st few minutes of season 2, episode 6, and it was plain as day. robots made in the image of deceased children. From R-45, the idea of swapping in newer larger bodies to simulate physical growth.
