The weather is finally getting cooler here in South Florida, down to the upper 40's at night. We can finally sleep without the A/C running at least part of the time. Even turned the ceiling fans to 'reverse' (winter mode, sucking the air up instead of blowing it down.) I love to throw an extra blanket on top of the sheets and sleep in the nude, I usually wake up all sweaty if I wear PJ's instead. It was so comfortable last night!

Meanwhile, over here in the UK it is dropping below freezing. I sometimes where my nighties under my trousers to keep me warm instead of my thermals, as I am sensitive to the cold.

I do that when I'm walking in the cold weather. I tend to walk alot. The weather in Ohio is so unpredictable. It could be a blizzard one day, and a ok and sunny the next day. We always joke how we could have all four seasons in one day.

I was up in Toronto Canada a few weeks ago on a business trip and brought some thermal 'long johns' along that I hadn't worn in nearly 20 years. The temps did get down to -10C at times, I'm glad I had them on when I was outside.

Meanwhile in Washington we've been having record breaking temperatures which is absolutely unnatural and uncommon. Normally this year we expect temperatures in the negatives, not in the upper 50s.

A confession: I've been watching the Canadian TV series The Raccoons again, and I'm finding one of the antagonists, Cyril Sneer, really cute. Like, both "kawaii cute" and "I'd wine and dine him" cute. I'm not the only person to have ever thought this, but it's still really disorienting.

I'm afraid I want to get Care Bears again. I used to be obsessed with Care Bears from about 1st grade to the beginning of middle school, and I had Care Bear everything. Well I didn't like the make over from 2007 (while I didn't like the style for the Care Bears, it DID work very well with My Little Pony, it just looked weird on Care Bears though, anyways). But then I go to Toys R Us with my grandparents (getting Jayden the Legos he wants for Christmas), and I walk around the store, looking around, and I see Care Bears. They look just like they did when they reintroduced them about early 2000's when I discovered them, but the colors were brighter and the fur is softer! God why!? I just gotten over them years ago, and they go and do this. Must not give in to kawaiiness!

I finally had some chicken fried in lard, but what a pain digging it out of the tub! I never imagined it was so thick! My favorite potato chips are GRANDMA UTZ, & these are cooked in lard, so I thought surely chicken fried in lard would be unbeatable, but found it to be no better than oil.

I have only seen two episodes of the 1960s Astro Boy anime: the first episode and the last episode. Yep. I swear I'll get around to watching the other episodes one of these days...

I have seen the entirety of the '80s anime, almost the entirety of the '03 anime, and the entirety of Little Astro Boy.
