it's not really a rant, as it's more of a gripe

Rant, gripe, complaint, quarrel, grievance, objection, grouse, ache, disposition, petty annoyances; they would do better to go in here - especially when a meaningful conversation around such topic may be more difficult to generate.

Also, some of the newer members might not know that this thread exists, so it's a good opportunity to show everyone that this thread is hear to listen to all.

It is a shame. Well, I guess, they must be busy, which is very understandable. I was busy myself for the past few years.

One thing that irks me about the 1980s US boxset (besides the omissions of uncut episodes 1 and 2) is the minor dubtitling such as changing Atom to Astro and Higeoyaji to Daddy Mustache (though they do keep his real name as Shunsaku Ban). In the manga, this isn't a problem since you don't see the original Japanese wording with the English translation. However, with the anime, the character's say "Atom," but the subtitles say "Astro."
