Haha! Roget, I remember that. At least them changing Pinoko's name to Penny made sense, but the Roget thing was a little odd. Not terrible but still odd. I mean why did they even need to change his name? Censorship laws trying to block out the reference to Black Jack the card game or the weapon? Afraid that that kids watching the show would turn into gamblers?

I like Kei x Black Jack as well. (This may seem a bit weird, but I find Black Jack x Rock and Black Jack x Kiriko as cute pairings along with Black Jack x Kei.) *Daydreams about many Black Jack pairings* Good God, I am a pervert.

I understand the Black Jack X Rock pairing but I don't know what to think about the Kiriko X Black Jack pairing... But well fans are free to dream!

Just look up Black Jack x Dr. Kiriko on google and you'll understand. (If you dare, that is.) Seriously for some reason, it seems like a whole ton of fans are ga ga for those two.

And yeah, a few of us fans out there have a thing for Black Jack x Rock, but its mostly Black Jack x Kiriko for most.

Ah I've seen plenty of them together, believe me. That pairing was (and still is) huge in the shipping community for Black Jack. It's just I don't personally see how they can be together (personality differences, differences of ethics and lack of support in the anime and manga mostly). I am a little more practical with my ships and require some more evidence of them possibly being a couple before considering shipping them. But that's just me, and people are free to ship whoever they want!

I like shipping Black Jack and male Kei (my head-canon is that Kei is and was a transman and had to repress that identity, it was unfortunate that he got uterine cancer, but it didn't stop the two of them ultimately from being together. And later in life Black Jack did Kei's gender reassignment surgery.)

But not too many people like that head-canon.

The Black Jack x Rock pairing I can see though as detailed in the story Pint Proof where Rock and Black Jack were best friends up until the ages of about 13 or so and were very close. Rock helped motivate Black Jack to get better and wasn't scared of him (if I remember the story right).

Then again Rock gets paired up with just about everyone!

I don't know why either. Maybe because Black Jack and Dr. Kiriko fight and argue all the time like a married couple? (At least that's how I see the reason as to why people always make yaoi pics and doujinshis of them. It's all over Pivix and Deviantart. Especially Deviantart. XD! ) Anyways, I just like that pairing cause it's cute. (In a weird way. XD)

Yeah, Black Jack and Rock. . Actually, I made a short gag comic about that, except it was mostly about Black Jack and Pinoko. It only showed a picture from a (fake) Black Jack x Rock Doujinshi in it. It's on my Deviantart except that my writing in it is very small. (I'm thinking about sharing it with bigger text on Deviantart sometime later in my scrapbook.)

They are a cute couple. Except the only sad thing is that Rock was sentenced to death in the manga. (I almost cried at that part.)
