I ate two chimichangas earlier. (Man, I'm such a stereo typical Hispanic. )

Ok, so next up ramen! (I wanted it since yesterday night when Black Jack said buy me a bowl of ramen when I was reading the manga. Been wanting some ever since. :p )

lol. I sometimes eat raw noodles when I open up the package before I cook 'em. (Cause you know when some of the pieces fall out of it? Yeah, I eat them.)

When I was very little I used to gnaw on dry, uncooked ramen noodles but grew out of that pretty quick once I was permitted to use the microwave on my own. :D

I used to sneak into the fridge and eat pieces of butter... I was a special child...

They actually serve pasta without sauce in some Italian restaurants. It's cooked I think, but it's strait and crunchy instead of soft and stringy like when you eat it normally.

Chinese noodles and vegetables AGAIN. Ha ha :D
You can say that I'm such a stereo typical Asian girl except that I'm less "ladylike" ;)

That and I have bigger eyes.

I just ate some camus. Yum. I really want to try and grow this stuff on my own but so far have not been able to find seeds.

What? What? What's a camus? Does not compute.

Also, I read this soo fast that at first, I thought you said, "I wish I can grow this stuff on my own butt."

:D On my butt?! :D Oh that's funny.

Camus is a root that's native to the Western part of the United States, it's small and white and can be ground up into bread or a paste. It's very buttery in flavor and texture but doesn't have any fat! The Salish tribes (the Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest) were the ones that ate it most often and were the ones to grind it up into a bread-like-state before the manifest destiny of the 1800s.

As far as I know it's not a cultivated or domesticated crop and can only be found if you forage for it (probably because no one really knows it or has any use for it) and pluck it from the ground. It's really chilly up here now but it's a root and survives quite well in these conditions even though their peak ripeness is in Spring.

And that is camus. There's even a city in Washington named after it.
