I`m not really eating anything technically but i`m having a nice cup of hot chocolate right now, it`s finally cold in Arizona!

I made myself some sushi for lunch. I got some seaweed wrap, and filled it with rice, lox, cream cheese, and sour pickles. Not bad for a first effort, but some of the rolls didn't hold together too well so I had to use a fork instead of chopsticks to pick them up. They'll probably come out better the next time I try it.

Using sushi rice or pearl rice will help the roll stay together a bit better if you didn't use these rices. Also rinsing the rice first before you cook it helps it be sticky, not matter what rice you use.

I love shushi with cream cheese, my favorite sushi roll is; salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, and avocado. I eat it with EXTRA ginger and wasabi.

Right now I made fish-tacos with cod and red curry sauce.

Yeah I did use short grain sushi rice and I rinsed it several times before cooking. The problem was in the way I wrapped the seaweed, it fell apart.

I eat only fried potatoes: chips & french fried potatoes. Grandma UTZ #1; DIRTY CHIPS, #2 of favorites. :p I know fried is unhealthy, but, I'm gonna die anyway. :lol:

Just ate microwaved fried chicken drumstick & 'LIFE' cereal for breakfast. About to finish Iced tea consisting of black tea w/ mint & green tea w/ mint.

We need a lip-licking smiley.

Cereal, the perfect compliment for any meal! LOL

I right now am sipping hot cocoa, we went out for dinner to my favorite Italian restaurant. I ordered my favorite dish which is called the "Mediterranean Chicken" in which it is angel hair pasta with sun dried tomatoes, artichoke, calmalata olives, feta cheese and basil in a brown butter sauce. I make them add extra artichoke and feta cheese though. It also has a chicken breast deep fried in their special batter.

Yum.

New Years eve I had some Sake with dinner. First time ever tasting it, I think it's very much like a non sweet white wine. Does anyone know if Sake is supposed to be chilled, heated, or drunk at room temperature? I Had mine in the fridge so it was about 40F or so and it was fine that way, but what is proper?

Made myself some black beans and rice for lunch today. Typical South Florida Cuban fare....
