Got Scars Anywhere?

Postby tailz » 10 years ago

I have one on my palm on my right hand. It darts through two lines embedded on my skin.

I have been trying to get a scar on my pinkie finger since I was little, cause I needed to have surgery done on it to get rid of my cyst. *Stares at deformity looking green cyst bump on pinkie finger.* Meh... this thing has been apart of me since I was six... *Pokes at it*

So where ya scars at? (Just being curious here. I've been thinking about Black Jack and medical stuff a lot lately.)

I have a scar on my upper left leg from when I fell off my bicycle when I was about 8 or 9 years old and badly cut myself on a sharp bit of concrete pavement.

I also have an incisional scar from heart surgery I had 12 years ago.

I have cracks everywhere on top of both of my hands that kinda look like scars, but it's just dried skin. (I have a skin disorder and I get dried skin on my face, hands, and knees. There's also some between my index finger.

I don't have anymore scars, but one.

Just one, on my forehead. Got it from fighting with my brother when I was like, eight or nine. You probably won't notice it though because I wear bangs.
I joined this forum in late 2013 when I was 15 going on 16. Ignore my oldest posts, they embarrass me so much that I've considered permanantly leaving the forum more than once. I've grown out of my fangirling phase over Black Jack, Atom and Uran ages ago but the memories still embarrass me at times... Though, I try to be more open-minded about it and accept it as an "interesting stage of my life". :tezuka:

Most of my scars are easily covered thankfully. I have one gnarly one on my scalp that my hair covers from when I had cancer, a medium-sized one on my inner thigh when I fell into a fire when I was 5 and this cluster of scars on my right hip from where I fell on the track field in high school during cross country. The last one was one of the worst as I fractured my hip and it forced me to quit the sport. :(

All the others are just tiny ones that are insignificant and are from cats and just playing.

Damn... That's bad.

I'm still waiting for my scar. (Why do I want a scar soo badly? Is it because I am overly obsessed with Black Jack? ) I need it to get rid of my cyst.

*Btw, Ignore my musical avatars. I am having trouble deciding on which avatar to choose from. I have over a billion pictures that would make great avatars on my Mp3, and I may just leave it alone for now until I find a good one.*

I have one on my left eyebrow from when I was in a car accident about a year ago. It's not too terrible of a scar, but it's still noticeable.

Otherwise, I got a couple other ones when I was much younger, but those are mostly gone now.

Scars can be either something to be proud of or something to be repulsed by depending on who you are. I know a lot of people that are self-conscious about them and others that display them proudly. One kid who had the same type of cancer I did proudly shows his scalp scar by keeping his head shaved to a point that is reminiscent of Mr. Clean. Me though? I want to shave my head one day, but not for a while. I really like how my hair is now.

You'll probably get a scar eventually! And if you need surgery to remove your cyst you will probably get a scar from that (unless they get rid of it just by sucking the fluid out with a syringe).

For me? I hope that I don't get any more scars for a while now, I've been good for ten years and that's pretty decent but I'm hoping that I can last a little longer before I get another gnarly one.

I have a raw-ish scar on the knuckle of my pinky on my right hand. I got it from going tubing with my friend Ashley and it kept rubbing against the rubber of the tube.
I also have one on the bottom of my foot a few years ago (it's starting to diaappear). I got that one from playing tag with my friend Annie when we were playing tag barefoot in the campground she was staying at for the summer; I stepped on a tree root that was sticking up out of the ground. At first I thought it was just bruised, then I saw it was bleeding! (Sorry for this TMI, but it was bleeding like a gusher! XD)
