Well for one thing I like dubs because then I can actually watch the show without having to read it. It gets a bit annoying after awhile.

I admit, that is important; sometimes I must sit rather close to the screen to read the subs/captions, but I find them helpful at times when the dialogue is too fast or otherwise difficult to understand.

I need to have subtitles regardless of it being dubbed or not for the sole reason that I am 80% deaf in my left ear and 30% blind in my left eye as well.

Thing can be hard for me to understand just by audio, I need to SEE it in order to understand something really well unless they are really loud. That and I just like having the subtitles, it makes things easier to understand.

I heard about this. Thought this was pretty sweet news.
Now, how can we get them to pry the Astro Boy rights from Sony's cold hands? XD

Here's a trailer for the new Sailor Moon series that's coming in July. (Sorry I couldn't find a subbed version) http://youtube.com/watch?v=v9Ft3viBgtQ The animation, it's so beautiful, and the character designs look closer to the manga. I'm so excited.

It's going to be hard for me to get used to the character designs, but as I understand it, it's closer to the manga. I think I'll get used it as time goes on.

However, the animation is gorgeous and I'm glad the voice actress for Usagi is still the same. I'm also pretty excited to see how this turns out.

There's a lot of things about this animation style that really really bother me...

Did anyone else watch the first episode? You can watch it on Crunchyroll and Hulu. It's the subbed version, FYI.

Overall, I like what I've seen so far. Pretty rocking soundtrack and nice animation (though a bit bright at times). It's only going to be updated every first and third Saturday, strangely enough.
