Found out about this while on vacation this past week. Very sad. Grew up watching him in many movies growing up, such as Aladdin, Jumanji, Hook, and others. Sad to think that two of the main actors from Hook died within the period of four months (Bob Hoskins died back in April).

I suppose it's worth noting that his wife mentioned that he was in the early stages of Parkinson's before taking his life. Having that on top of severe depression must have weighed heavily on him.

Sad way to go, but he was loved by many. May he rest in peace.
